
CMA CGM adopts winter surcharge for services from ECSA to Russia

CMA CGM adopted a Winter Surcharge on exports from the East Coast of South America (SAFRAN, SIRIUS, and NEFGUI services) to St. Petersburg (RULED), Ust Luga (RUULU), and Bronka (RUBRK).
According to the company, the surcharge of $125 per TEU, applicable to all types of containers, will be necessary due to the extra operating costs during Russian winter weather conditions, starting on January 7, 2022, until April 30, 2022 (BL date).
