CMA CGM, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen and OOCL present Ocean Alliance Day 4 product

CMA CGM, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen and OOCL launched their new Ocean Alliance Day 4 product on January 9, seeking to strengthen theIr service offerings starting from April.
The new service will offer its customers more port calls, more direct connections and better transit times, strengthening their competitiveness, according to their press release. Customers will benefit from an optimized and increasingly tailored service offering. The product covers the use of 325 container ships, 38 services and an estimated carrying capacity of about 3.8 million TEUs.
Ocean Alliance’s enhanced product offers a comprehensive cross-Pacific trade service offering 19 services; a strong offer between Asia and Europe with 7 services; a large supply between Asia and the Mediterranean with 4 services; 2 transatlantic services connecting northern Europe to the east coast of the United States and the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, it is the only alliance offering 4 services between Asia and the Middle East, 2 services in Asia and the Red Sea.
