CMA CGM reported that because of the market situation and its additional costs, it will apply a general rate increase (General Rate Increase – GRI) to the BRAZEX service, valid from June 15, 2021.
Here are the details:
- ECSA including Salvador for the West Coast of South America / West Coast of the USA (covered by SEAS service) / Gulf and East Coast of the USA / Canada:
USD 1200 / container
- ECSA including Salvador for the Caribbean / Colombia / Central America / Mexico:
USD 500 / container
The relative GRI will take effect on the BL * date and refers to dry cargo, excluding shipments from BRVCO, BRFOR (and BRSSA to ASIA), which are subject to other service pricing structures.
* Destination covered by FMC (the USA and Puerto Rico)
- Port to port: Full container at the terminal
- Door to Port: Container collected by the customer
** Cuba: same value as for the Caribbean, but charged in Euros
* excluding overseas departments and territories linked to the European Community
