Cocamar Agroindustrial Cooperative, which has 87 units operating in Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul, registered revenues 16.2% higher in 2018 than the previous year, at R$4.571bn. The increase has been attributed to a record soybean crop, at 1.332m tons in 2018, and the consolidation of new businesses such as the concession of agricultural machinery, a network of filling stations and the production of soy and wheat seeds.
Cocamar’s storage capacity also rose from 1.1m to 1.6m tons through a new agricultural store in Naviraí, Mato Grosso do Sul as well as the acquisition of 10 service structures in Paraná.
The following chart created using Dataliner data shows how Cocamar’s exports have changed over time.
