On November 25th, Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte (CODERN) presented the draft proposal of the employee voluntary dismissal program to Shift A of the employees of the Areia Branca salt terminal which was leased by ANTAQ (the national waterway transport agency), on the São Paulo Stock Exchange on November 5, 2021. In a few days, it will be introduced to the employees of Shift B.
The voluntary dismissal program has undergone extensive discussion with employees and is one of the options that the company offers to employees: “I reaffirm our concern for employees. We will discuss this with each one individually and offer possibilities, such as the voluntary dismissal program which will open vacancies in Natal and Maceió so that these positions can be offered to those who are currently in Areia Branca, and the possibility of being assigned and moved to other bodies”, stated the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CODERN, Ulisses Danilo Silva Almeida.
Almeida reaffirmed the importance of the lease of TERSAB for CODERN that everyone wants in the future: “You employees, rest assured that you have always been and will always be a deciding factor in our decisions”, he concluded.
