
Coffee/ICO: Global Exports in November Rise 2.45% to 10.86 Million Bags

Global coffee exports reached 10.86 million 60-kg bags in November, the second month of the 2024/25 crop year. This volume represents an increase of 2.45% compared to the same month in 2023, when 10.6 million bags were exported, according to the International Coffee Organization’s (ICO) monthly report.

In the first two months of the 2024/25 coffee year, total shipments amounted to 21.85 million bags, a 7.8% growth compared to the same period in the previous cycle (2023/24), which recorded 20.27 million bags.
Over the 12 months ending in November 2024, arabica coffee exports totaled 86.37 million bags, a 16.5% jump compared to the 74.11 million bags shipped during the same period the year before. Robusta coffee exports also increased, rising 7.2% from 49.45 million to 53.02 million bags.
These figures highlight the dynamism of the global coffee market, driven by the growth in exports of the two main varieties, arabica and robusta.
