Coffee: May shipments close at 2351 million bags in Brazil

Brazil’s coffee bean exports in May 2023 totaled 2,351,428 bags of 60 kg, equivalent to a daily average of 106,883 bags over 22 working days. The revenue generated from these exports amounted to an impressive US$ 537.091 million, with a daily average of US$ 24.413 million. The average price per bag stood at US$ 228.41.
Comparing these figures to May 2022, the average daily revenue from coffee bean exports in May 2023 experienced a slight decline of 8.3%, dropping from a daily average of US$ 26.611 million the previous year.

Furthermore, the average daily volume shipped in May 2023 decreased by 1.0% compared to May 2022. The daily average of 107,930 bags in the previous year saw a marginal decline. Conversely, the average price experienced a more substantial retreat, dropping by 7.4%.
