Week 202201

Current corn shipments through Brazilian ports are timid compared to the start of 2021, a year in which total exports closed at around 20 million tons, a sharp drop from 2020.

The line-up surveyed this Wednesday (5) by Germinar Corretora de Mercadorias was virtually the same as the one on Monday. It indicates 2.567 million tons to be handled.

The numbers refer to specific ships named in loading, waiting offshore for berthing, or that are on their way to the terminals.

The ports of Santos and Paranaguá, always in the respective leadership, together will account for almost 1.5 million tons.
