Cotton: Brazil exports 43,163 thousand tonnes in February

Brazilian exports of raw cotton totaled 43,163 thousand tonnes in February (18 working days), with a daily average of 2,398 thousand tonnes. Earnings from sales abroad totaled US$ 81.633 million, with a daily average of US$ 4.535 million.

The information is from the Foreign Trade Secretariat / Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services. Compared to the same period of the previous year, there was a decrease of 72.6% in the daily volume exported (8.758 thousand tonnes per day in February 2022). The daily revenue decreased by 73.1% (US$ 16.856 million daily in February 2022).
