Cotton: Brazil exports 62.790 thousand t in August

Brazilian cotton exports totaled 62,790 tonnes in the 23 working days of August, with a daily average of 2,730 tonnes. Sales abroad totaled US$ 124.154 million, with an average of US$ 5.398 million. The information is from the Ministry of Economy.
In comparison to the same period of the previous year, there was a decrease of 18.3% in the daily volume exported (2.308 thousand tonnes daily in August 2021). On the other hand, daily revenue increased by 34.2% (US$ 4.022 million daily in August 2021).
