
Cotton: Brazil exports 92.22 thousand t in January

Brazilian raw cotton exports totaled 92.22 thousand tonnes in January (15 working days), with a daily average of 6.148 thousand tonnes. Revenue from sales abroad totaled US$ 173.156 million, with a daily average of US$ 11.544 million. The Foreign Trade department of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services supplied the information.

Compared to the same period of the previous year, there was a decrease of 35.3% in the daily volume exported (9,496 thousand tonnes per day in January 2022). As a result, the daily revenue decreased by 36.3% (US$ 18.128 million daily in January 2022).
