Beginning on May 20 at 5 p.m., Santos Port Authority (SPA) will hold an online auction of various goods to be sold in the state in which it is located.
Items for sale include ferrous mixed scrap from the dismantling of disabled portainers and shiploaders, container scanner equipment, copper wires, and aluminum tiles. Visits to inspect the goods can be made between May 15th and 19th, by appointment, at two SPA yards and two terminals in the Port of Santos. Scheduling should be arranged by phone (13) 3202-6565, extensions 2682 or 3244.
For online trading, access the website address www.freitasleiloeiro.com.br. Those interested in participating must register on the site by 5 pm on May 19, the day before the auction.
SPA reserves the right not to release items that do not reach the minimum bidding price. Dismantling of the portainers and shiploaders should be completed by July 23. SPA will make part of the material available for delivery as of June 1 (date subject to change). These and other conditions, as well as the general rules for the auction, may be found at http://intranet.portodesantos.com.br/lei_acesso/licitacoes.asp?s=&m=90.
