
Diesel imports are back above 1 million m³

After a sudden drop in February, diesel oil imports by Brazil recovered their pace and once again rose to 1 million m³ in March. According to the most recent data from the Ministry of Economy, nearly 1.17 million m³ of diesel entered the country,
Such an increase isn’t just perceivable compared to the previous month. Compared to March 2021, imports, imports also rose by 33.6%.
The prices paid by importers, on the other hand, increased at an even faster pace. The growth rate, compared to March 2021, was over 120%. Spending has gone from $274.9 million last year to more than $869.6 million in the most recent period.
