Dr Jackson Corbari, Brazil’s Customs Administration General Coordinator, is among the special guests at Datamar’s Intermodal conference panel this week

Intermodal South America, the largest logistics, cargo transportation and foreign trade event in South America, is taking place this week from the 19th to the 21st of March at the Centro de Exposições São Paulo Expo (SP). During the event Datamar will host a conference panel discussing digital transformation in the port sector with a panel of guests, including John Mein, Executive Coordinator of Procomex, Dr Jackson Corbari, Brazil’s Customs Administration General Coordinator and Oliver Cunningham, Head of Transformation and Innovation at KPMG Leap. Datamar’s Director, Andrew Lorimer, will chair the discussions.
The panel will provide an overview of how important processes within the port sector have become digitized with a focus on the Brazilian government’s development of its own import and export systems. The discussion will aim to cover other parts of the sector that are targets for digital transformation, and how far down that road Brazil currently stands. Panel discussions will also examine the need for clarity of data sources used within disruptive applications and considerations in fulfilling companies’ compliance obligations.
