
Fertilizers: Brazil imports 2.83 million tonnes in October

Brazil disbursed USD 1.62 billion in exchange for fertilizers in October (20 working days) at an average of USD 85.52 million daily. The country imported 2.83 million tonnes of fertilizers, an average of 148.84 thousand tonnes. The average price per tonne was USD 574.50.
In comparison to October 2021, the average daily value of imports decreased by 17.9%, the average daily amount imported reduced by 36.6%, and the average price increased by 29.4%. The figures come from the Ministry of Economy.
