
Government extends anti-dumping measure on imports of carbon steel pipes from China and Romania

The Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (Mdic) extended this Monday (24) an anti-dumping measure against imports of “seamless carbon steel pipes (line pipe) with a diameter of up to five inches” coming from China and Romania.
The extension is valid for up to five years and reaches item 7304.19.00, according to the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
In the case of items produced in China, US$ 743 per ton will be charged. In the case of items produced in Romania, US$ 75.11 per ton will be charged.
The information was published in this Monday’s edition of the Official Gazette (DOU).
