The Santos Port Authority (APS) decided to postpone a Public Hearing on the extension of the Ecoporto terminal lease contract, which was originally planned for Friday, June 14, at 2 p.m. The announcement was made via the Port of Santos website. However, the Public Hearing concerning the cruise terminal, scheduled for 9 am on the same date, remains unaffected.
“This topic is so important that the Ministry of Ports took it upon itself to schedule a specific hearing”, explained APS president, Anderson Pomini, while highlighting that, on the other hand, the hearing on the terminal cruises will take place as scheduled.
Details regarding the rescheduled date for the Ecoporto hearing will be disclosed at a later time. Public consultations, encompassing both the deferred public hearing and those concerning the cruise terminal and operating area, will continue to accept feedback from the public until June 21st.
