
ICO: Global coffee exports fell 5% in September

The International Coffee Organization (ICO) reported this week that world coffee exports totaled 10.07 million bags in September, 5% less than in September last year when they totaled 10.59 million bags.
In the 12-month period until September 2021, Arabica variety exports totaled 75.32 million bags, 3 million bags more than the 72.22 million sold in global markets in the same period last year.

Exports of robusta coffee totaled 40.98 million bags in the the12-month period. The volume is less than the 42.62 million bags accumulated in the 12 months up until September 2020.
