Itajaí, Navegantes see combined throughput of more than 1.4 million tonnes in July

In July, the Itajaí and Navegantes Port Complex saw a throughput of more than 1.4 million tonnes. In containerized cargo at the APMT-owned and public enclosures, 32,933 TEUs were handled in the year’s seventh month, 355,092 tonnes. As a result, the year-to-date throughput accumulated 208,998 TEUs with 2,341,979 tonnes.
The movement of export-bound FCL containers totaled 10,955 TEUs at APTM Terminals and the public wharf combined. In terms of imports, the figure was 14,190 TEUs. The total sum of exports and imports was 25,145 TEUs.
During July, the Itajaí and Navegantes Port Complex obtained a throughput of 1,531,491 tonnes in 83 calls. In 1H22, 561 container calls bringing 9,867,474 tonnes.
In the containerized cargo segment, 130,285 TEUs were handled in the complex during the month of July. In terms of full container loads, the complex handled 101,515 TEUs.
Between January and July, 465,951 TEUs were registered.

In the other private use terminals, PORTONAVE (Navegantes Port Terminal) registered 51 berths during the month of July with 97,781 TEUs and 1,055,820 tonnes.
Movements at the BRASKARNE terminal in the period corresponding to July indicated two stopovers with 2,672 in tonnage. The TEPORTI recorded five stopovers with 21,500 tons, and the terminal BARRA DO RIO showed two stopovers with 5,586 tons.
