Itajaí port complex: 1.6 mln t throughput in September

The Itajaí port complex recorded a 1,633,785 tonnes throughput in September, as well as 87 berths (calls) and 135,818 TEUs. Year-to-date, from January to September 2022, the port complex saw 733 calls, with a movement of 13,090,815 tonnes.
In terms of containerized cargo, at both the public wharf and APMT, the September statistics point to 23 berths and 336,219 tonnes, bringing the annual movement to 272,346 TEUs, 3,275,494 tonnes, and 206 berths.
Regarding full container loads, APM Terminals and the public dependencies saw 9,156 TEUs exported in September. In imports, this figure was 12,512 TEUs. During the month of September, the total sum of exports and imports was 21,668 TEUs.
In other private-use terminals, Portonave (Navegantes Port Terminal) registered 57 berths during September, with 1,197,746 tonnes and 83,033 TEUs handled in full containers.
BRASKARNE terminal received two calls in September, totaling 6,060,838 in tonnage.
Barra do Rio Terminal recorded two calls with 18,353,474 in tonnage, and TEPORTI recorded three calls with 23,013,528 tonnes.
In September, 87 ships docked at the Itajaí Port Complex, with 43 docking in basin 01 and 37 vessels in basin 02.
