Itajaí Port Complex sets 1.3 million tonne throughput in November

The Itajaí Port Complex scored 1,312,201 tonnes of cargo throughput in November. The figure consolidates a total of 15,975,385 tonnes moved from January to November 2022.
Last month, Itajaí moved 118,220 TEUs in exports and imports – which increased throughput to 1,400,004 TEUs since the beginning of this year.
In November, according to the report, 80 ships operated in the port complex, 22 of which were docked in the leased area of Itajaí (APM Terminals) and Public Wharf.
At APM Terminals and Itajaí’s public area, 266,943 tonnes of cargo were moved in the month, resulting in 3,961,853 tonnes year-to-date.
As for containers, the month of November saw a 22,281 TEUs throughput. Year-to-date, 334,619 TEUs have been moved.

Other private-use terminals
In November, 52 vessels passed through Portonave, raising the total number of calls at the terminal to 577 in the year.
The terminal also saw 982,730 tonnes in cargo throughput, totaling 11,680,825 tonnes from January to November 2022. In TEUs, there were 95,939 in November and 1,065,205 TEUs in the year.
One call was registered at the Braskarne terminal, bringing the number of ships that operated there in the year to 17 calls. Cargo throughput in November was 23,676 tonnes, rising to a total of 71,053 tonnes until the last month.
Four calls were recorded at the Teporti terminal, bringing the total for the year to 33. There were 34,277 tonnes moved in total in November – the Teporti has accumulated 165,098 tonnes since the beginning of the year.
Poly Terminais recorded a call with 4,625 tonnes, bringing the total for the year to six calls and 30,591 tonnes this year.
The BARRA DO RIO Terminal did not show records of calls in November, but it recorded 12 total calls, growing year-on-year from only two calls.
