The luxury yachts built in Itajaí, Santa Catarina’s North Coast, were shipped to Italy in March 2023. The vessels are worth R$ 140 million in total.
The shipment took place on the 6th of March at the Port Complex of Itajaí. This is the first time that Brazil has exported an Azimut Grande model yacht, which measures 27 meters long and has an area equivalent to over 350 square meters. In addition, three units of the Azimut Atlantis 51 model were shipped off the country.
In March, the Brazilian factory of Azimut Yachts, the only one outside Italy, exported a superyacht and three other vessels to Europe, one of which is the Azimut Grande, a model valued at more than R$55 million, and three units of the Azimut Atlântis 51, valued at R$7.9 million each.
The shipment required a massive operation at the Port of Itajaí, supported by more than 30 employees from the shipyard responsible for the construction of the vessels, as well as port workers and the ship’s crew. The yachts arrived in Italy on Sunday (26).
