The lack of tractors and other agricultural machines on the market is worrying farmers.

These sales are heated this year, according to FENABRAVE (the national federation of automotive vehicle distribution). In the first 7 months of 2021, almost 31,000 tractors and trucks were sold in Brazil, an increase of more than 30% compared to the same period last year.

But with greater demand than supply, many resellers are not able to deliver.

A movement of  R$ 33 billion is forecast for 2021, according to ABIMAQ (the Brazilian association of machinery and implements industries). But manufacturers face problems with the shortage of inputs such as steel, tires, and chips, which are essential for the equipment technology to work.
