Line-up: Brazilian sugar exports to reach 1.271 million tonnes

The total number of ships in the line-up to set sail from Brazilian ports loaded with sugar was 44 on the 14th versus 50 in the previous week, according to the maritime agency Williams Brasil.
According to its report, approximately 1.271 million tonnes of sugar are scheduled to be exported compared to 1875 million in the previous week. Most of it (797 thousand tonnes) will depart from the Port of Santos, followed by the Port of Paranagua (365,781 tonnes), Recife (81,303 tonnes), Maceio (15,450 tonnes), and Suape (12,000 tonnes).

The types of sugar cargo to be exported belong to the VHP variety (1,168,447 tonnes), granulated sugar B150 (25,000 tonnes), refined A-45 (32,000 tonnes), VHP in bags (12,000 tonnes), and TBI sugar (34.5 thousand tonnes). The agency’s report includes anchored vessels, those still waiting to berth, and those expected to arrive by Jan 12.
