Log-In discloses new brand positioning

After record-breaking results in 2023 and cleverly calculated acquisitions in recent years, Log-In, renowned for its expertise in navigation and intermodal logistics, is repositioning itself as an Integrated Logistics provider. This transformation was unveiled to the public for the first time at Intermodal South America, the largest logistics event in Latin America, taking place from March 5th to 7th in São Paulo, Brazil.
The change naturally results from years of investment and meticulous preparation. Márcio Arany, President of Log-In, shares his perspective on this transition: “This is a milestone that reflects our journey of success. We have grown, adapted, and now, as Log-In Integrated Logistics, we are ready to offer more comprehensive and efficient solutions to our clients,” he asserts.
The brand transformation is not merely aesthetic but strategic, as clarified by Product and Marketing Manager, Patricia Resende. “Brands evolve to align with market dynamics, so Log-In is changing to reflect our expansion and ensure that our clients understand the full range of logistic solutions we offer,” she emphasizes.
Boosting Business On Land and Sea
In this context, Log-In came up with a new slogan: “Boosting Business On Land and Sea,” aimed at communicating better the commitment to being more than just a logistics partner but a driver of opportunities, connecting businesses in a fluid ecosystem, by land and sea.
The evolution of the brand identity also comes with a new logo, which was carefully redesigned to highlight the contrast between straight lines and curves, visually stating the company’s defining features: agility and versatility to haul cargo by land and sea, thus integrating different transport models. Log-In’s commitment to sustainability and the environment, symbolized by the green and blue colors, continues to be a part of the company’s visual identity, a testament to the benefits that the company offers.
Fleet Reinforcement
Another innovation that Log-In offers the market in early 2024 is its new vessel, further reinforcing its fleet. Named Log-In Evolution and acquired in China, the vessel aims to increase the capacity of coastal shipping services, as it is 25% larger than the average vessels on the route, being a container ship with a nominal capacity of 3,158 TEUs, total length of 199.98m, and breadth of 35.2m.
Log-In Evolution is the most modern vessel in the fleet, boasting features that will allow better fuel efficiency, reduced pollutant emissions, lower costs, and increased operational safety. The vessel is estimated to enter operation at the end of February, being deployed to coastal and Mercosur services, bringing more capacity and efficiency to Log-In’s operations and national logistics.
The company is also awaiting the completion of the construction of the second vessel acquired in 2021, along with Log-In Evolution. The construction of the vessel, named Log-In Experience, is scheduled for completion in June this year. Together, the two vessels received a total investment of US$85.2 million.
Navigating Seas and Roads
Seeking to keep pace with the agility and adaptability that dictate the pace of business in the market, Tecmar, which has been in operation for 23 years and has been part of the Log-In Group since 2022, is also embarking on a new chapter with the repositioning of the brand in the logistics landscape. The company will now transition from Tecmar Transport to Tecmar Transport & Logistics, reflecting its evolution to a multimodal operator, integrating highways and seas in a cohesive, safe, and sustainable manner.
