Log-In Logística Integrada is proud to announce a strategic expansion of its cabotage network during Intermodal South America 2025. The company is introducing a fourth vessel dedicated to the route between Manaus (AM) and the main ports in the Northeast and Southeast regions of Brazil, a move that will increase its capacity in the North region by nearly 30%.
This change, which comes into effect in May, strengthens the company’s cabotage operations and the distribution of import cargo in the region. It directly impacts the availability, predictability, and efficiency of its clients’ logistics operations. With the new operational setup, Log-In will now offer three weekly departures from Manaus, providing clients with more options, faster delivery times, and increased predictability in their supply chains.
According to Felipe Gurgel, Commercial Director of Log-In Logística Integrada, the reinforcement of the company’s own fleet increases network flexibility and positions the company as a provider of more complete and connected logistics solutions. “The decision to allocate an additional vessel to the North region reflects our commitment to expanding cabotage as a viable and strategic alternative for cargo transportation in Brazil. We believe in the region’s potential and are investing in regularity, capacity, and integration,” he stated.
This new configuration is a result of improved operational conditions at key ports across the country, which allowed for the reallocation of assets to routes with higher growth potential, Gurgel explains. “Log-In’s focus is on ensuring more efficient routes, reducing risks, lowering logistics costs, and increasing predictability in deliveries — all of which are critical elements in industries that rely on precision and continuity in their supply chains,” he added.
In addition to increased capacity, Log-In continues to strengthen its position as a leading integrated logistics operator. The company offers customized solutions that combine maritime and road transport, warehousing, and supply chain management. This model allows companies to tailor their logistics flows to their specific business needs, using personalized strategies and intelligent resource management.
Log-In’s booth also features Tecmar Transporte & Logística, a company within the group that manages the road transport division. Tecmar’s presence further reinforces the group’s role as an integrated logistics operator, particularly in operations involving road-cabotage (Rodocabotagem), a term that refers to the combined use of road and sea transport for cargo delivery.
Industry Insights and ESG Agenda
Beyond its operational highlights, Log-In is also participating in the Interlog Summit, held during Intermodal. Andrea Simões, Director of People, Culture, and Digital Transformation at the company, will speak on the panel “ESG Shaping Corporate Strategies: Success Practices,” taking place on Thursday, the 24th, at 4:45 p.m. The discussion will focus on how ESG practices are shaping corporate strategies in the logistics sector, and will include insights from executives from companies such as AMBEV, Carrefour, ITL, and Abralog.
According to Gurgel, Intermodal continues to be a key starting point for logistics sector planning. “It’s a moment for alignment among the main stakeholders in the logistics chain. The event allows us to discuss joint solutions and anticipate market movements for the second half of the year — a period of high logistics demand in the country,” he concluded.
