Log-In signs contract for a new service originating in Argentina

Log-In Logística Intermodal has just signed a contract that involves customized solutions. The contract provides for the movement of chemical products in an operation designed exclusively for the customer, leaving Argentina for Brazil, with Log-In being the only operator in the entire logistics chain. The work was conducted in partnership with Log-In’s regional office in Buenos Aires and integrates two assets of the company: container ships and the Itajaí intermodal terminal, located in Santa Catarina.
The operation foresees regular departures from the Argentine port of TecPlata, in Buenos Aires, bound for the port of Itajaí. From there, the cargo will be transferred to Log-In’s intermodal terminal in Itajaí, stored, and finally delivered by truck to the customer’s doors in the south and southeast regions. Another part of the cargo will go by cabotage to the Northeast.
This type of service is not new to Log-In. Since 2007, the company has carried out dedicated operations for Dow Química at the intermodal terminals of Itajaí (SC) and Guarujá (SP) combined with coastal shipping. The idea is to replicate these logistical models.
