Maersk changes ASAS service scale
Aug, 09, 2021 Posted by Ruth HollardWeek 202132
Maersk has communicated to its customers that beginning September 2021, its ASAS service, which operates between Asia and the East Coast of South America, will no longer stop at the port of Itajaí on the export voyage. Instead, a replacement stopover will be made in Itapoá.
According to the shipowner, the change was implemented to offer a more efficient and simplified level of service to customers in Brazil.
The first vessel/voyage with a new rotation will be the MAERSK LAGUNA v-137E with ETD in Buenos Aires on September 17, 2021.
