March Ends with a 44.44% Increase in Pork Export Revenue

According to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Federal Government, released this Friday (4th), exports of fresh, chilled, or frozen pork up to the last week of March (19 business days) significantly surpassed the figures recorded in March 2025.

The revenue obtained by the end of March, $258,644,061, represents a 44.44% increase compared to the total revenue for March 2024, which was $179,059,606. Regarding the shipped volume, the 102,699.199 tons exported represent a 30.36% increase over March 2024, when 78,775.868 tons were recorded.

Comparing this with February 2025, the revenue from pork exports up to the end of March, $258,644,061, represents a 2.05% increase over the total collected in February 2025, which was $253,424,443. In terms of shipped volume, the 102,699.199 tons exported by the end of March show a 1.56% increase over the 101,118.365 tons recorded in February.

By the end of March, the daily average revenue was $13,612,845, 44.4% higher than in March 2024. However, compared to the previous week, there was a 2.82% decrease, as last week’s figure stood at $14,008,073.

Regarding the daily average shipped volume, 5,405.221 tons were recorded, reflecting a 30.4% increase compared to the same month in 2024. However, compared to the previous week’s result, there was a 3.20% decline, down from 5,584.451 tons.

The price per ton reached $2,518.462, 10.8% higher than in March 2024. Compared to the previous week’s value, this represents a slight increase of 0.40%, up from $2,508.406.
