In 2021, the Board of Directors of the Merchant Marine Fund (CDFMM) allocated R$ 1.2 billion to finance new projects and technical changes related to 99 vessels. At the last meeting of the year on November 25th, an additional R$513.7 million were authorized for four new projects during the 48th Ordinary Meeting of the body belonging to the Ministry of Infrastructure. In all, the collegiate approved 18 projects in 2021 as priorities: 11 construction projects and 7 ship-repair projects.
