Ocean Network Express (ONE) Sets New Record for Cargo Loaded on a Single Ship

For the sixth consecutive time, Ocean Network Express (ONE) has set the world record for the largest amount of cargo loaded on a single ship, with special recognition going to the vessel ONE Infinity and once again to the Port of Singapore.
The Japanese shipping company’s vessel, with a reported maximum capacity of 24,000 TEUs, established a new historic mark by operating with 22,206 TEUs.
This achievement has become a trend for ONE, as it has been repeatedly accomplished by six recently integrated ultra-large container ships in the company’s fleet, which make up THE Alliance’s FE3 service.
As a result, the company has secured all positions from first to sixth in the list of TEUs loaded onto a single ship.
Upon detailed analysis, ONE Infinity remains at the top of the ranking, followed by ONE Intelligence with 22,202 TEUs, ONE Inspiration (22,159 TEUs), ONE Ingenuity (22,071 TEUs), ONE Innovation (22,000 TEUs), and ONE Integrity (21,954 TEUs).
The container ship Ever Ace from Evergreen now holds the seventh position after loading 21,710 TEUs, while the CMA CGM Jacques Saadé holds the eighth and ninth positions after completing two voyages carrying 21,433 TEUs (April 2021) and 20,723 TEUs (October 2020). HMM Algeciras, with 19,621 TEUs, rounds out the top ten.
It is worth mentioning that ONE reclaimed in November 2023 a record it had previously established, specifically when the MOL Tribute managed to transport 19,190 TEUs in 2019 (now in the 13th position), surpassing at the time the achievement reached by the Mumbai Maersk (19,038 TEUs loaded in August 2018).
All of ONE’s vessels are new, with a reported capacity of more than 24,000 TEU. They are 399 meters long and 61 meters wide, with drafts of 16.5 meters.
