ONE launches new Asia-ECSA service

Ocean Network Express (ONE) released details of its new Asia-East Coast South America (ECSA) service that will replace the current IPANEMA. The new service will be operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), with 5 ships, while Hapag-Lloyd and ONE will each operate 4 vessels.
Maersk and Hamburg Sud will buy slots on this service, which will be mainly designed to service Rio Grande, since its new sling will not call at this port.
The port rotation will be Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Yantian – Hong Kong – Singapore – Santos – Paranaguá – Navegantes – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Navegantes – Paranaguá – Santos – Port Elizabeth – Port Kelang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Busan.
The first vessel is scheduled to leave Busan in the second week of December.
The service will call at BTP in Santos, Terminal Cuenca Del Plata in Montevideo, and at Exolgan in Buenos Aires.
