Ocean Network Express (ONE) is participating in Intermodal South America 2025, presenting solutions that strengthen its presence in Latin America and reinforce its commitment to operational efficiency, technological innovation, and sustainability in container shipping.
Highlights from ONE at Intermodal 2025:
● Smart Monitoring with CONTAINER+:
ONE is showcasing its advanced remote monitoring solution for refrigerated containers (reefers). This solution provides real-time visibility into cargo conditions, including temperature, humidity, and controlled atmosphere. This technology allows for greater operational control and proactive decision-making to optimize supply chains.
● Expanded Connectivity in Latin America:
In April 2025, ONE is launching the East Coast South America Express 2 (SX2) service, enhancing connections between key ports in the Far East and the East Coast of South America. In May, two new feeder services—River Plate Express (RPX) and River Plate Service (RMB)—will begin operations, optimizing logistics between Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay and offering greater flexibility in cargo transport.
At the same time, ONE is investing in expanding its presence in the Caribbean region. New services and partners reinforce its commitment to an increasingly integrated and efficient network.
● Digital Solutions for Greater Efficiency:
The ONE Quote platform has been upgraded to offer a more complete user experience, including new features for instant quotes and bookings, differentiated free time conditions, price alerts, and customized options for ports of loading and discharge (POL/POD). The ONE eBL, an electronic bill of lading solution based on blockchain, enhances security and speed in shipping documentation.
● Commitment to Sustainability:
In April, ONE will bring the ONE Sparkle to Latin America for the first time—its first self-built and operated container vessel. With a capacity of approximately 13,800 TEUs, the vessel is equipped to operate on sustainable fuels such as methanol and ammonia, contributing to reduced emissions in commercial shipping.
Wave BL, a maritime document digitization specialist and ONE’s partner in producing ONE eBLs will be present at ONE’s stand to demonstrate the progress made in the electronic documentation process.
Eccaplan, the sustainability consultancy hired by ONE to account for emissions from the stand, will also be present throughout the three-day event. Based on collected data (including stand setup, maintenance, and visitor information), the impact of emissions will be assessed, helping shape future strategies in ONE’s sustainability plan.
