The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that the governments of South Korea and Vietnam have authorized the export of new Brazilian agricultural products.

The South Korean government has approved the export of poultry feathers, which is expected to create new business opportunities for Brazilian agribusiness. This product has various industrial applications, including producing pillows, cushions, bedding, and upholstery and serving as a raw material for thermal and acoustic insulation products. In 2024, South Korea imported $2.9 billion worth of Brazilian agribusiness products.

Vietnam’s sanitary authority has confirmed the authorization for the export of pet food containing animal-origin ingredients. Last year, Brazil exported $3.9 billion in agribusiness products to Vietnam.

These negotiations reflect the Brazilian government’s efforts to diversify exports and strengthen the country’s commercial relationships with key global partners. Opening markets with Brazil offers significant advantages for importing countries, such as access to high-quality, internationally certified products, reinforcing supply chains, and contributing to economic development and food security.

With these announcements, Brazilian agribusiness has achieved 15 new market openings in 2025, bringing the total to 315 new business opportunities since the beginning of 2023.

These results stem from the joint efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
