This article explores the top 50 Ocean Transportation Intermediaries (OTIs) operating in Brazil and the Plate region in January 2025, along with a comparison to 2024. The OTI ranking is compiled based on data from multiple sources, collected and refined by Datamar’s Business Intelligence team. Some figures may differ from those recorded in DataLiner.

Kuehne & Nagel leads the OTI ranking for containerized exports, though its volume in January 2025 was 14.2% lower than in the same month of 2024. BCF follows, posting a 112% increase in shipments, while ES Logistics recorded a 30.9% decline compared to January 2024. See the full table below:

Asia Shipping topped the OTI ranking for Brazil’s containerized imports in January 2025, handling a 57.3% higher volume than in January 2024. It was followed by Kuehne & Nagel, which saw a 4.1% increase, and Allog, with an 89.2% surge over the same period. See the complete ranking:

Containerized Exports from Argentina

Transcargo led Argentina’s containerized exports in January 2025, handling a volume 132.1% higher than in January 2024. It was followed by Ruca Logistics, which posted a 20.9% increase, and Tiba Group, with a 115.8% growth over the same period. Full ranking below:

Blu Logistics handled the highest volume of containerized imports in Argentina in January 2025, registering a 233.8% increase over January 2024. It was followed by Kuehne & Nagel, with a 51.2% rise, and Craft, which posted a 136.5% increase. See the full table:

Containerized Exports from Paraguay and Uruguay

Kuehne & Nagel led containerized exports from Paraguay and Uruguay in January 2025, despite a 18.6% decline from January 2024. It was followed by ITL Cargo, which saw a 44.4% increase, and Calmar Internacional de Uruguay, which posted a 206.2% surge over the same period. Full ranking below:

Containerized Imports into Paraguay and Uruguay

Pluscargo topped the OTI ranking for containerized imports into Paraguay and Uruguay in January 2025, despite handling an 11% lower volume than in January 2024. It was followed by Navicon, which posted a 23.3% decline, and Repremar Logistics, which saw an 87.3% increase over the same period. See the full table below:
