In the case of imports, all the top five companies recorded drops between January and March 2023. This trend is explained by the exchange rate crisis the country is going through, which promotes the depletion of dollar reserves, the exponential growth of inflation, and, consequently, falling purchasing power. Another feature of the inflationary crisis is the year-on-year increase in the price index, which grew 104.3% in March 2023, according to the INDEC government statistical body.
