See below the ranking of the top 50 OTI (NVO) in Brazil and Plate for container shipping from January to May 2022 and its comparison with the same period in 2021, based on DataLiner data, from Datamar.

Brazil

Kuehne & Nagel leads the OTI ranking in terms of exports via containers in Brazil with 23,501 TEUs, a slight drop of 3.96% over the first five months of 2021. The second place, AMTRANS Logistics, shipped a volume 22.52% lower in the same period. On the other hand, ASIA Shipping, ranked third, had a volume 27.53% higher. See more below:

As for imports, the Brazilian leadership is from Asia Shipping, with a volume 25.62% lower than in the first five months of 2021. The second place, DSV, increased receipts by 10.19% in the same timeframe. See below:

Argentina

As in Brazil, Kuehne & Nagel also leads Argentine exports via containers, with 2,552 TEUs exported from January to May 2022, a growth of 8.04% compared to the same period in 2021. The second position in the ranking lies with Ruca Logistics, which grew 62.21% in the same comparison. See below:

In the Argentine imports via containers ranking, Locksley SRL leads the way with 6,230 TEU between January and May 2022, a volume 38.15% lower than the same period in 2021. Kuehne & Nagel, on the other hand, ranked second in the Argentine import ranking, growing 8.71% over the same period. Check it out below:

Paraguay and Uruguay

In the other Plate countries (Paraguay and Uruguay), Kuehne & Nagel also leads the ranking of exports via containers with 1,318 TEU, a volume 34.95% lower than in the aggregate of the first five months of 2021.  Sea Fast ranked second with a volume 1.99% lower in the same comparison. Regarding imports from Paraguay and Uruguay, the ranking for the first five months of 2022 is led by PlusCargo with 4,145 TEUs and a growth of 20.10% compared to the same period in 2021. Almar Uruguay, with 3,889 TEUs and an increase of 22.41%, takes second place. Check it out below:
