Below is the ranking of the top 50 Ocean Transportation Intermediaries (OTIs) that operated in Brazil and the Plate region from January to September 2024, along with a comparison to the same period in 2023. It’s important to note that this ranking is compiled from multiple data sources collected and adjusted by Datamar’s Business Intelligence team, which may result in some differences from the volumes recorded in DataLiner.

Kuehne & Nagel tops the ranking of OTIs for Brazilian container exports, with 41,813 TEUs shipped from January to September—a 3.1% increase over the same period last year. Following Kuehne & Nagel, EL Logistics saw a 4.7% rise in shipments, while Allog recorded a significant 47.2% growth. The complete ranking is as follows:

In container imports to Brazil from January to September, Asia Shipping leads with 157,038 TEUs, up 34.8% year-on-year, followed by DSV with a 13.4% increase and Blu Logistics with a 26.8% rise. Here’s the full ranking:

Kuehne & Nagel also leads Argentina’s container export rankings, exporting 3,476 TEUs in the first nine months of the year—an increase of 0.9% over the same period last year. Second on the list, Latcomex saw a 23.1% drop, while Ruca Logistics recorded a 26% decrease in shipments:

For imports to Argentina from January to September 2024, Kuehne & Nagel remains at the top despite a 15.2% decline, followed by Locksley Logistica with a 37.4% decrease and Yusen Logistics down 4.6%. See details below:

Kuehne & Nagel leads container exports from Paraguay and Uruguay between January and September 2024, with volumes up by 57.1% year-on-year. Seafast followed with a 4.6% decline, and ITL Cargo grew by 0.7% over the same period. The full list is provided below:

In imports to Paraguay and Uruguay, Navicon leads despite an 8.6% decrease year-on-year for the first nine months of 2024. Pluscargo’s imports rose 4%, while HB Logistica recorded a 10.4% drop. See the full table:
