Check out the ranking of the 50 biggest Ocean Transportation Intermediaries (OTI) that maintained operations in Brazil and the Plate region from January to December 2023, as well as a comparison to the same months in 2022, based on data from DataLiner, a Datamar business intelligence service.

Brazil

Kuehne & Nagel leads the ranking of Brazilian container exports in 2023, with 53,247 TEUs, a 2.7% decrease from the same period in 2022. Easy Shipping, ranked second, handled a volume 71.7% higher. DSV, which is third in the rankings, saw 10.8% less cargo exports. Check the full ranking below.

Asia Shipping leads the ranking of Brazilian container imports in 2023, with 166,719 TEUs, a volume that is 20.4% higher than the same period in 2022. DSV, ranked second, imported a volume 2.9% lower. Check out the complete list:

Argentina

Americana Shipping leads the ranking of Argentine container exports, with 5,291 TEUs shipped in 2023, 119.6% more than in the same period in 2022. In the same comparison, Latcomex, which is ranked second, increased by 55.7%. Refer to the table below for more information:

Locksley leads the ranking of Argentine imports via containers in 2022, with 20,402 TEUs, up 23.2% from 2022. Kuehne & Nagel, second in the ranking, saw volumes fall 1.3% over the same period of comparison. See more below:

Other Plate region countries

Kuehne & Nagel led the charge in container exports from Paraguay and Uruguay in 2023, with 5,255 TEUs, 113.4% higher than the same period in 2022. Seafast, ranked second, exported a volume 7.1% higher. Check it out below.

The ranking of containerized imports from Uruguay and Paraguay in 2023 is led by Navicon, with 10,101 TEUs, a volume 15.1% higher than in 2022. Pluscargo saw its imports plunge 19.6% year-on-year. See more below:
