Over 100 small, medium, and large business representatives, producers, industry associations, and co-ops from a diverse range of Brazilian agribusiness have joined the delegation organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) that departed on an official mission to China on Monday, March 20.
Along with Minister Carlos Fávaro and the specialized team at Mapa, which works on trade agreements, simplification of processes through digitalization, and opening of markets for Brazilian products with the Chinese authorities, the business people will have the opportunity to discuss with the private sector the import and export demands between the two countries.
“It is a very eclectic entourage, contemplating the diversity of Brazilian agribusiness activities, not only those interested in selling their products, but also buying so that we can advance in the agribusiness agenda,” explains Fávaro.
Brazil’s biggest trading partner, China, will receive the visit of President Lula. On March 28, the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, will join the presidential delegation and, on the 29th, will participate in the Brazil-China Business Seminar.
