Total Paraguayan exports by November 2024 reached US$ 14.784.5 million, 6.0% below the US$ 15.734.7 million recorded in November of the previous year.
Registered exports accounted for 69.4% of the total, reaching US$ 10,266.1 million, a 6.5% decrease compared to the accumulated value until November 2023.
Reexports, representing 23.6% of the total, amounted to US$ 3,484.6 million, showing a cumulative decrease of 10.8%.
Other exports, with a share of 7.0%, recorded a cumulative increase of 21.8%, reaching US$ 1,033.8 million.
The observed decline in registered exports is mainly attributed to the drop in electricity sales, decreased corn exports, and a fall in soybean meal and grain prices.
Shipments under the maquila regime totaled US$ 1,030.5 million, an increase of 9.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
By November 2024, total imports amounted to US$ 14,952.7 million, 4.4% higher than the US$ 14,325.0 million recorded in the previous year.
Until November 2024, the trade balance recorded a deficit of US$ 168.2 million.
