Portos do Paraná, the port authority responsible for the Port of Paranaguá, launched the tender notice for an area known as PAR09, which will house a terminal dedicated to the storage and movement of vegetable bulk. The area is located far west of the port’s perimeters and spans approximately 26 thousand square meters.
PAR09 is the third area of the Port of Paranagua, following PAR12 AND PAR32, to be auctioned off by the port authority. This is the second auction in 2022.
“We are ending 2022 with significant advances in terms of planned leases, which allows for major investments for the port complex, Parana’s coast, as well as the whole state,” said the acting CEO of Portos do Paraná, Luiz Teixeira da Silva Júnior.
The bidder who offers the highest grant amount wins the contract. The expected capital expenditure (Capex) is close to BRL 910 million. The prerequisites to participate are listed on the tender notice available on the website of the state port authority, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and Brazil’s national waterway transportation agency Antaq.
The documentation can also be found at the administrative headquarters at Av. Ayrton Senna da Silva, 161, Dom Pedro II neighborhood.
TENDER – The public auction session will be held on the Brazilian Stock Exchange, B3, on December 14, 2022.
Portos do Paraná carries out the bidding procedures for this and other leasing projects through its Commission for the Bidding of Port Areas (CLAP), as per the agreement signed with the Federal Government in August 2019.
