
Paulo Nery, Appointed as President of Porto do Recife, Pledges Growth and Innovation

Paulo Nery steps into the leadership of Porto do Recife with a commitment to enhancing port operations and promises an innovative and bold management approach. His key goals include doubling revenue, investing in workforce technical training, and strengthening new business acquisitions.
The inauguration occurred Monday morning (1st) at the port’s administrative headquarters. “I arrive at Porto do Recife with high expectations. I am happy to embrace this mission entrusted to me by Governor Raquel Lyra and confident that I will leave my mark with a modern and innovative management style, which has been recognized throughout my career,” said Nery.
He took on this role after serving as Pernambuco’s Secretary of Tourism and Leisure, where he achieved significant success and results. He also was Regional Superintendent at Caixa Econômica in the Northeast, overseeing operations in Recife, Alagoas, Paraíba, and Bahia. Paulo Nery holds a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance and People Management.
