The Brazilian personal hygiene, perfumery, and cosmetics industry experienced a remarkable surplus of 30.9% in the first four months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, reaching a total of US$ 29.2 million.
This increase can be attributed to the growth in exports, particularly in April, as indicated by data from the Brazilian Association of Personal Hygiene, Perfumery, and Cosmetics (ABIHPEC). Exports amounted to US$ 289.3 million from January to April, marking a significant increase of 17.2%.
