The Port of Cabedelo celebrates the end of the interdiction on Warehouses 6-A and B. In total, R$ 12 million were invested in the revitalization of the warehouses.
“When I took office as president 13 months ago, all five operating warehouses were closed by order of the Ministry of Labor. We couldn’t function normally or receive new ships because there was nowhere to store the cargo,” lamented President Ricardo Barbosa.
Warehouse 6 was the last in the revitalization process, and with the lifting of the interdiction, Auditor Ana Campos delivered the Suspension of Total Interdiction Document for all warehouses. According to the president, the document represents not only an operational victory but also a clear sign of the team’s commitment and dedication to overcoming challenges and ensuring the full resumption of port activities.
With the warehouses no longer interdicted, the Port of Cabedelo assumes full operational capacity once again.
