Port of Fortaleza approves new tariff structure; see some of increases below

The National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq) has approved a new adjustment to the tariffs of the Port of Fortaleza. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette of the Union.
The Tariff Adjustment Index (IRT), which impacts all freight modalities equally, stands at 17.18%.

Below are some of the increased rates.
It is important to note that the new tariffs and the tariff structure will be effective within 30 business days of publication. Additionally, the Ceará Ports Company must submit a copy of the current tariff structure to the Antaq Regulatory Superintendence.
Variable tariff, by gross tonnage of the vessel (TPB/DWT):
For long-haul operations:
General or project cargo, loose: TPB up to 30,000 – from R$ 0.81 to R$ 0.95; TPB above 30,000 – from R$ 0.4 to R$ 0.47
General cargo, containerized: TPB up to 25,000 – from R$ 1.29 to R$ 1.51; TPB from 25,000 to 40,000 – from R$ 1.12 to R$ 1.31; TPB above 40,000 – from R$ 0.63 to R$ 0.74
Solid bulk: TPB up to 30,000 – from R$ 4.45 to R$ 5.21; TPB from 30,000 to 40,000 – from R$ 3.65 to R$ 4.28; TPB above 40,000 – from R$ 3.37 to R$ 3.95
Liquid bulk: from R$ 1.43 to R$ 1.68
Petroleum, its derivatives, or other fuels: TPB up to 30,000 – from R$ 2.31 to R$ 2.71; TPB from 30,000 to 45,000 – from R$ 1.76 to R$ 2.06; TPB above 45,000 – from R$ 1.04 to R$ 1.22
Roll-on-roll-off vessels: from R$ 1.38 to R$ 1.62
Tourist or passenger transport vessels: from R$ 3.54 to R$ 4.15
Other purposes or vessels that do not handle cargo, including anchoring for refueling: from R$ 0.62 to R$ 0.73
For cabotage or inland navigation operations:
General or project cargo, loose: from R$ 0.49 to R$ 0.57
General cargo, containerized: from R$ 1.13 to R$ 1.32
Solid bulk: from R$ 4.16 to R$ 4.87
Liquid bulk: from R$ 0.63 to R$ 0.74
Petroleum, its derivatives, or other fuels: TPB up to 15,000 – from R$ 1.88 to R$ 2.2; TPB from 15,000 to 30,000 – from R$ 0.95 to R$ 1.11; TPB above 30,000 – from R$ 0.66 to R$ 0.77
Roll-on-roll-off vessels: from R$ 1.38 to R$ 1.62
Tourist or passenger transport vessels: from R$ 2.82 to R$ 3.3
For other purposes or vessels that do not handle cargo or passengers, including anchoring for refueling: from R$ 0.62 to R$ 0.73
