The Port of Imbituba is implementing a pilot project to generate photovoltaic energy in the port area. The initiative consists of installing solar energy-to-electricity conversion panels on the roofs of the six substations and the central warehouse. SCPAR Porto de Imbituba bidding session No. 030/2021 for the integrated contracting of the project and execution is scheduled to take place on November 4th. The deadline for completion of the work is 18 months from the contract signature.
About 830 m² of the roof area of the port facilities will be suitable for the generation of photovoltaic energy, taking advantage of the solar conditions in the region. It is estimated that the new system will contribute 15% of the Port’s current electricity consumption.
The bidding procedure of Notice 030/2021 has the lowest global price as a judgment criterion and will be carried out in public and electronic sessions, through Banco do Brasil’s bidding system. The details with the terms and documents required are available on the website of the Port of Imbituba, at Aba Licitações.
