Codern also announced that it obtained the Operating License for the Port of Natal, granted by the Institute for Sustainable Development and the Environment (Idema), which had been awaited for over a decade.

The process began in 2011, and, over the years, several studies and documents were filed, going through technical analyzes and requests to complement the studies to make it possible to obtain the license.

“This environmental licensing will give us more security to attract new customers,” said the president.

The board mentioned accomplishments in the last four years, which contributed to the company’s growth, such as implementing 72 management indicators, compliance meetings with the search for “situational awareness,” and improving the company’s financial soundness.
