Port of Paranaguá terminal suspends activities after naphtha leak

A naphtha leak interrupted the activities of the Terin maritime terminal in the Port of Paranaguá, on the coast of Paraná, on Sunday night (April 9).
According to information from the port authority, the incident occurred during a transport operation with the chemical product on Avenida Coronel Santa Rita.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Still, activities at the site were suspended while teams from the Fire Department, the Terin company, and the port administration are working at the terminal to solve the problem.
As of Monday morning (April 10), the site remained closed, and the task team was working to contain and clean up the leak. The competent authorities are monitoring the situation.
