The port project was developed through a partnership between the Santa Catarina Engineering Teaching Foundation (FEESC) and the Santana Port Authority (CDSA). The PDZ establishes the objectives that the port authorities intend to achieve over the next twenty years, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure website.
According to DataLiner, the port currently moves bulk commodities, and between January and April, the port received 11 vessels.
